Itinerary When booking BEFORE your Islandhopping tour Unveiling Zagreb’s Secrets Take some time to explore and discover the Croatian capital, Zagreb. Meander through the old town, built by the Austro-Hungarian Empire, with its numerous impressive buildings or marvel at the Kaptol (centre of the Catholic Church of Croatia) and Gradec (the old upper town). An especially lovely way to spend your morning is with a stroll through the colourful market, not far from the Zagreb Cathedral. The city is also home to many fascinating museums, wonderful art galleries and a varied gastronomy scene. Day 1 – Arrival and City Tour A private transfer will collect you from the airport in Zagreb and take you directly to your hotel, where you will have time to drop off your luggage and settle in. Afterwards, you can begin your first day exploring the city. Our local tour guide will take you on a city tour and show you all the secrets of this exciting metropolis. In the evening, you will have dinner in a specially selected restaurant. Enjoying the delicious local cuisine is a great way to end the day. The night is spent in a hotel in the city centre. Day 2 – Onward journey to Omišalj If you have booked a tour starting in Omisalj, the transfer collects you from your hotel in Zagreb at 11.30 am and takes you to Omišalj where you check in on your boat.
