1st Day Dubrovnik (Embarkation)
Individual journey to Dubrovnik. Check-in on board starts between 2 and 2.30 pm at Gruž, the town port. At about 4.30 pm, a guided tour through Dubrovnik is offered, where we hear some interesting details of the town’s history and visit the most impressive sites. The boat will spend the night in Gruž providing the opportunity to experience Dubrovnik’s nightlife.
2nd Day Dubrovnik – Island Šipan – Island Mljet (aprx. 7 mi./11 km + aprx. 15.5 mi./25 km)
In the morning we cross over to the nearby island of Šipan. Šipan is the largest of the Elaphiti Islands, yet still humble in size. A great place for our first bike tour and to get used to riding in a group. After our first tour we board the boat and enjoy a cruise to the green island of Mljet. Green because 70 % of its landmass is covered by woodland making it the most forested island in the Mediterranean region. Homer mentioned this lovely island in his epic poem “Odyssey”. He made it a home for the Nymph Calypso and the legendary Greek king Odysseus, who could not resist Calypso and stayed on Mljet for seven years. We arrive in the harbor of Pomena and enjoy a round tour on our bikes through the Mljet National Park. The night is spent in the harbor of Pomena.
3rd Day Pelješac Peninsula - Insel Korčula (aprx. 15.5 mi./25 km)
During breakfast a short cruise brings us to the harbour of Trstenik on the Pelješac Peninsula. Pelješac can be recognised from far away with its impressive 3280 ft./ 1.000m high Sv. Ilija mountain range. The famous local wines named Plavac and Dingač originate from this unique wine region where vineyards can be found firmly rooted into the steep mountainside. Today's bicycle ride takes us along the coastline from Trstenik to Orebić where the boat will wait for us with a delicious lunch (a short 4km distance of the tour is ridden on gravel roads to avoid the traffic of the busy main road). With lunch on board, we set off towards the picturesque town of Korčula with its fishbone alleyways competes with Venice for the honor of being the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. It is here that we spend the night and enjoy a guided city tour packed with fascinating anecdotes concerning the history of the city and the island.
4th Day Korčula town - Vela Luka
(aprx. 37.5 mi./60 km)
Today’s cycling tour leads us across the charming island of Korčula. A mild Mediterranean climate and a vast variety of different landscapes accompany us along the tour. Take your time and don’t forget to take a break to enjoy the view over the deep blue sea and neighbouring islands. Dinner is served on board to recharge after a day full of activity. 5th Day Island Korčula- Island Vis
(aprx. 20 mi./32 km)
In the morning we leave the island of Korčula behind and enjoy a breakfast cruise to the island of Vis with a possible swim stop from the boat before arrival. Vis is the furthermost inhabited island from mainland Croatia. A Greek colony called Issa settled on the island 2,300 years ago. Due to its strategic location it was a military zone until 1995 and prohibited for foreign tourists. In the afternoon we have the opportunity to explore the lovely island by bicycle. From the town of Vis we cycle once around the entire island with a coffee stop in the harbour of Komiža . The night is spent in the harbour of Vis.
6th Day Island Hvar: Hvar City - Jelsa - Stari Grad (aprx. 25mi./40 km)
The day starts with a relaxing cruise to Hvar town on the island of the same name. Make use of the time before the bike tour begins to go for a little stroll through the city. Standing on the magnificent Renaissance Square you can enjoy a view up to the Spanish Fortress towering high above the city. Today's bike tour takes us from the Hvar town up a steady climb through small villages and lavender fields to the harbour town of Jelsa on the opposite side of the island. The descent down to Jelsa offers breath-taking views. After Ice cream and coffee in Jelsa, our ride continues through the picturesque town of Vrboska and through the ancient Greek plains, now a protected UNESCO heritage site, to the artistic village of Stari Grad where our boat awaits our arrival. The night is spent in Stari Grad.
7th Day Brač Island: Milna – Pučišća
(aprx. 24 mi./40 km)
In the morning we cruise to the island of Brač, famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was used in part for the White House in Washington as well as for the construction of the German Reichstag building in Berlin. Once on Brač, we start our bike tour from Milna to the picturesque harbour town of Pučišća. Climbing our way over the island we have spectacular views across the Dalmatian coast. Along the way we take time to interact with the locals before continuing along the coast from Postira to Pučišća where our boat awaits us for lunch and the final cruise of the week to the UNESCO world heritage city of Split. On a guided city tour, we get the opportunity to see inside the former Palace of Emperor Diocletian and learn about its transformation into the city it is today. A cheerful evening meal on board the boat gives us plenty of time to celebrate the wonderful week with fellow travellers and tour guides.

Once on Brač, we cycle from the picturesque harbour town of Pučišća, known internationally for its stone masonry college, across the island to Bol. Close by lies the famous “Golden Horn”, a popular Croatian beach famous for its unique shape. Water lovers can enjoy a swim here before we continue on by boat to Jelsa on the island of Hvar.
3rd Day Hvar Island: Jelsa – Stari Grad - Hvar – Island Vis (aprx. 22 mi./35 km)
Today’s cycling tour on the Island of Hvar leads us first from Jelsa to Stari Grad. After a short break we continue on by bike through lavender fields and small villages to the island’s capital, Hvar, on the opposite side of the island. Make sure to take the time to go for a little stroll through Hvar town before boarding the boat for the next crossing. Vis is the furthermost inhabited island from mainland Croatia. A Greek colony called Issa settled on the island 2,300 years ago. From the town of Vis we cycle once around the entire island with a coffee stop in the harbour of Komiža and a possibility for a traditional lunch along the way before returning to the boat. After the tour, the boat takes us to the harbour of Vela Luka on the Island of Korčula where we spend the night.
5th Day Korčula Island: Vela Luka - Korčula town (aprx. 37.5 mi./60 km)

A mild Mediterranean climate and a vast variety of different landscapes await us on this spectacular island. Take your time and don’t forget to take a break to enjoy the view over the deep blue sea and neighbouring islands. The picturesque town of Korčula competes with Venice for the honour of being the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Spend the evening wandering through the fishbone alleyways and soak up the atmosphere of this stylish town. A guided city tour will give you an overview of the city and its history.
6th Day Island Korčula – Pelješac - Island Mljet
(aprx. 16 mi./25 km + 18 mi./30 km)
During breakfast a short cruise brings us to the harbour of Orebić on the Pelješac Peninsula. Pelješac can be recognised from far away with its impressive 3280 ft./ 1.000m high Sv. Ilija mountain range. The famous local wines named Plavac and Dingač originate from this unique wine region where vineyards can be found firmly rooted into the steep mountainside. Important information

Spoken language

Due to our international audience all Islandhopping tours are conducted bilingually, in English and German.

Itinerary changes

We reserve the right to make changes to the planned itinerary due to changing wind and weather conditions as well as organizational requirements.

Requirements

E-Bike Level 1

E-bike tours suitable for Islandhoppers with a good basic level of fitness. The tours and the elevation gain are very manageable with an e-bike (30-60km and 400-700 m of elevation per day).

Guided group pace

On our e-bike tour programs, the riding pace is determined by the cyclists on e-bikes. Guests who are taking part on these tours on a gravel bike should have the necessary physical condition to keep up with this pace. Thank you for your understanding.

Requirement to wear a helmet

Helmets are mandatory on our bike tours. It is advised to bring your own, well fitted, helmet with you as our rental helmet numbers are limited (reservation required).

Bringing children

We believe that only children with a good physical condition and previous bicycle tour experience and a minimum age of 10 are able to master the cycle tours ith their own strength. Please note that the minimum height for a rental e-bike is 1.50 m (4.9 ft.).

Follow-me bikes, bike seats and bike Bungees can also be hired for accompanying children. Our reservation experts are happy to provide you with more detailed information on request. It is mandaorty for all participants on our tours to wear a bicycle helmet.

For the best tour experience with children, we recommend our Multi-Adventure Tours in Croatia or Greece. We are convinced that these itineraries provide the best all-round experience for each individual family member when travelling as a family.

Bringing private bikes & exclusion of private e-bikes

The tour which you have booked requires an e-bike in top technical condition. Islandhopping can offer you high quality, fully serviced rental bikes perfect for the terrain of this tour.

We do not allow you to bring your own e-bike due to the safety regulations on ship as well as ensuring the safety of our employees. If you would like to ride an e-bike, please rent one from our inventory.

We do not advise bringing your own tour or hybrid bike, as the guided group pace is oriented towards the e-bike riders. If you want to ride your own bike on the trip, we recommend bringing a sporty bike that meets the technical requirements to keep pace with the higher speed of the e-bikes. In addition, your bike will need to have good tires (ex. Gravel Bike or Cyclocross Bike). Furthermore, you should ensure you have the required level of physical fitness. Before traveling, please check the condition of brakes, gears and tires as well bringing repair kits and essential spare parts (e.g. inner tube). Your bike must be in top technical condition. Please keep in mind that transporting your own bicycle will result in relatively high additional costs (particularly when flying) and the risk of transport damages is high.

Disclaimer: Radurlaub Zeitreisen GmbH will not be held liable for any damages caused to private bikes during loading, unloading or other logistical handling thereof.

Noise on board

Please do not forget that the ship is your hotel as well as a machine, which has to be maintained and operated – day and night. A certain level of noise is therefore inevitable.
