Itinerary

1st Day
Trogir (Embarkation) – Hvar Island
Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split Airport, which is about 4 mi./6 km away from the harbor of Trogir. After check in on the motor yacht between 2 and 2:30 pm the first cruise starts about 3 pm from Trogir to Hvar Island. Stari Grad is the second largest settlement on the island of Hvar and well known for its important harbor. Overnight stay in Stari Grad.
2nd Day Islands of Hvar and Vis
(aprx. 12.5 mi./20 km)
After breakfast we set off on a bike tour from Stari Grad to the capital city of Hvar. We will have plenty of time on arrival, to visit the magnificent Renaissance Square of Hvar town and enjoy the view up to the Spanish Fortress situated high above the city. Back on board again we cross over to the island of Vis. Overnight stay on Vis.
3rd Day Island Vis
(aprx. 20 mi./32 km)
Vis is the furthermost inhabited island from mainland Croatia. A Greek colony called Issa settled the island 2,300 years ago. Due to its strategic location it was a military zone until 1995 and prohibited for foreign tourists. Today we have the opportunity to explore the lovely island by bicycle. After cycling the boat takes us to the island of Korčula. Overnight stay in Vela Luka.
4th Day Island Korčula
(aprx. 37.5 mi./60 km)
Today we discover the island of Korčula by bicycle and enjoy our lunch break in one of the local restaurants. The calmness and remoteness, the vast vegetation and cypress gardens have given shape to probably the most beautiful Dalmatian island. Our cycle tour leads us via the village of Blato, like Rome build on seven hills, along a pass across Pupnat bay and finally to Korčula town, where we have time to take a walk through the wonderful old town with its narrow “fishbone like” alleys. We stay overnight in Korčula town.
5th Day Island Brač
(aprx. 28 mi./45 km)
Today we cruise to the island of Brač, which is famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was, among others, used for the White House in Washington or the Reichstag building in Berlin. After an extended swim break followed by lunch, we start our cycling trip in Pučišća. With an initial climb we will be rewarded with fantastic views over the neighboring islands before descending to the harbor of Postira. From here we take the coastal road back to the boat in Pučišća where we spend the night. The quaint harbour town is home to the most famous stone mason schools in Croatia and the works of the students can be seen on display throughout the town. The night is spent in Pučišća.
6th Day City of Split (Rafting in Omiš)
(aprx. 10 mi./17 km)
During breakfast the boat brings us to the city of Split. The old town of Split, built adjoining the famous palace of the Roman Caesar Diocletian, is a UNESCO world heritage site. Today we have the choice either to take a bus transfer to go rafting through the Cetina Canyon (not included in the tour price) or to explore the wonderful Marjan forest Park in Split by bike. The rafting group will be picked up from the boat by a bus and are taken to Omiš for the excursion. From here they will follow the river downstream in the rafts gaining a unique perspective of the canyon and its flora and fauna. Participants of the rafting trip are brought back to the boat in the bus after the activity. Cyclist will enjoy a short but scenic bike tour through the green heart of Splits accompanied by an extensive swim break at a local beach. In the afternoon we can explore the bustling city of Split again together as one group. Overnight stay in Split.
7th Day
Island Šolta
(aprx. 12.5 mi./20 km)
After crossing over to Rogač on the island of Šolta we commence our last cycle tour. Walled fields, numerous olive groves, locust bean and fig trees line the roads. The herbal scent of rosemary accompanies us along our tour across the island. Our boat awaits us in Rogač and we enjoy our last crossing back to Trogir where, if time permits, we can take a tour of the old town which is a world heritage site. The last evening aboard our ship follows a nice tradition. While enjoying a communal dinner in a cosy atmosphere you will have the chance for a last get-together with your crew and your tour guides.
8th Day Trogir (Disembarkation)
After breakfast disembarkation until 9 am and individual trip home or extended stay in Dalmatia/Croatia.

Important information

Spoken language

Due to our international audience all Islandhopping tours are conducted bilingually, in English and German.

Itinerary changes

We reserve the right to make changes to the planned itinerary due to changing wind and weather conditions as well as organizational requirements. Should it be the case for example that the harbours on the above mentioned tour sequence are overcrowded, the tour will be operated in reverse.

Requirements

E-Bike Level 1

E-bike tours suitable for Islandhoppers with a good basic level of fitness. The tours and the elevation gain are very manageable with an e-bike (30-60km and 400-700 m of elevation per day).

Guided group pace

On our e-bike tour programs, the riding pace is determined by the cyclists on e-bikes. Guests who are taking part on these tours on a gravel bike should have the necessary physical condition to keep up with this pace. Thank you for your understanding.

Requirement to wear a helmet

Helmets are mandatory on our bike tours. It is advised to bring your own, well fitted, helmet with you as our rental helmet numbers are limited (reservation required).

Bringing children

We believe that only children with a good physical condition and previous bicycle tour experience and a minimum age of 10 are able to master the cycle tours ith their own strength. Please note that the minimum height for a rental e-bike is 1.50 m (4.9 ft.).

Follow-me bikes, bike seats and bike Bungees can also be hired for accompanying children. Our reservation experts are happy to provide you with more detailed information on request. It is mandaorty for all participants on our tours to wear a bicycle helmet.

For the best tour experience with children, we recommend our Multi-Adventure Tours in Croatia or Greece. We are convinced that these itineraries provide the best all-round experience for each individual family member when travelling as a family.

Bringing private bikes & exclusion of private e-bikes

The tour which you have booked requires an e-bike in top technical condition. Islandhopping can offer you high quality, fully serviced rental bikes perfect for the terrain of this tour.

We do not allow you to bring your own e-bike due to the safety regulations on ship as well as ensuring the safety of our employees. If you would like to ride an e-bike, please rent one from our inventory.

We do not advise bringing your own tour or hybrid bike, as the guided group pace is oriented towards the e-bike riders. If you want to ride your own bike on the trip, we recommend bringing a sporty bike that meets the technical requirements to keep pace with the higher speed of the e-bikes. In addition, your bike will need to have good tires (ex. Gravel Bike or Cyclocross Bike). Furthermore, you should ensure you have the required level of physical fitness. Before traveling, please check the condition of brakes, gears and tires as well bringing repair kits and essential spare parts (e.g. inner tube). Your bike must be in top technical condition. Please keep in mind that transporting your own bicycle will result in relatively high additional costs (particularly when flying) and the risk of transport damages is high.

Disclaimer: Radurlaub Zeitreisen GmbH will not be held liable for any damages caused to private bikes during loading, unloading or other logistical handling thereof.

Noise on board

Please do not forget that the ship is your hotel as well as a machine, which has to be maintained and operated – day and night. A certain level of noise is therefore inevitable.

What Our Guests
Have To Say

The trip was excellent!!!! Our guide, Mahill, was beyond excellent. I would like to see a more casual lunch served, possibly a packed lunch, instead of 2 big, heavy meals every day. I would also like to have some more bike riding. One day, we did 2 bike rides and that was fabulous!
