1st Day Corfu Island/Corfu city (Embarkation)
Individual arrival in Corfu and collective transfer from the airport to the ship. Check in on the Panagiota starts at 2 pm. The tour begins with a shared dinner on board. Night is spent on Corfu.
2nd Day Corfu Island – Paxos Island
(aprx. 7 km by bike)
After breakfast we cast off and cruise to the olive island of Paxos. Paxos is the smallest of the seven Ionian Islands with a higher population of olive trees then people – 32 km² are home to over 250,000 olive trees! They cover the island in a wonderful silver green shimmer. The natural harbor of Gaios is unique and provides a special atmosphere during our stay here. In the afternoon, we take a short bike ride along the coast to Kaki Lagkada beach, where you can swim in the crystal clear Ionian Sea. The evening can be spent relaxing in a local tavern in Gaios.
3rd Day Paxos Island - Lefkas Island
(aprx. 8 km by bike)
On our morning cruise to Lefkas City, on the island of the same name, we anchor near Antipaxos for a swim stop from the boat. After a long cruise we reach a narrow channel with an old swing bridge which connects the Greek mainland with the island. We start our tour around the lagoon from Lefkas City. Along the way there will be the opportunity to enjoy a second swim at the white sand beach, Agios Ioannis. After returning to the boat, we navigate our way to Nidri where we spend the evening and the night.
4th Day Lefkas Island - Cephalonia Island
(aprx. 10 km by bike)
In the morning we cycle from Nidri through olive groves to a nearby waterfall. If we are lucky, there will be enough water to allow us to take a refreshing swim. Following the tour, we make our way to Fiskardo on the island of Cephalonia. This port, located at the northern tip of the island, is a true delight with its colourful little houses and many cafes and bars that line the picturesque harbour promenade. An evening walk, about 30 minutes long, leads us to a pretty lighthouse. Overnight in Fiskardo.
5th Day Cephalonia Island - Meganisi Island
(aprx. 15 km by bike)
After a short crossing by boat we reach the harbour of Sami, where the day’s bike tour begins. The route leads along the coastline to the enchanting Melissani Cave; accessible only by rowboat. A visit to a donkey farm with learning and fun for everyone is next on the agenda before the tour takes us back to the boat. The boat waits for us in Sami before taking us for a well-deserved swim break! We then continue on to Meganisi, a charming island, where we spend the night.
6th Day Meganisi Island – Arillas
(aprx. 6 km by bike)
After breakfast we have the opportunity to explore Meganisi by bike. Afterwards a long crossing takes us to Arillas, an idyllic and peaceful place along west coast of Greece, which lies close to Perdika on the Greek mainland. A stroll along the sandy beach or a swim around Panagiota (the boat) rounds off the day. We spend the night in Arillas.
7th Day Arillas – Corfu Island
(aprx. 12 km by bike)
In the morning, we head out on cycling tour along remote streets under the shade of old olive trees, through a national park and along a little river until we reach the monastery of Agios Athanasios, which we visit. The Panagiota waits for us before our last crossing back to Corfu. Here we can enjoy a celebratory evening meal and reminisce on the wonderful week adventures.
8th Day Corfu Island/ Corfu city (Disembarkation)
After breakfast, check-out, collective transfer to the airport on request. Individual return home, or holiday extension on the island of Corfu.

Important information

Spoken language

Due to our international audience all Islandhopping tours are conducted bilingually, in English and German.

Itinerary changes

We reserve the right to make changes to the planned route due to changing wind and weather conditions, and where required by organizational necessities. Our tours are dependent on weather conditions and the final decision is that of the captain. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend time on board the boat, instead of taking a planned bike-tour.

Requirements

The cycle tours we offer here take place under the expert guidance of your tour guide, who is familiar with the terrain. The bicycle tours do not require particular physical fitness. The walks and short hikes follow good paths, which are in part even asphalted and are also not at all demanding. Should some activities require a greater level of fitness, your tour guide will point this out to you beforehand.

Guided group pace

On our regular cycling tours the riding pace is determined by the cyclists on regular bicycles. We ask guests who have reserved an e-bike to be mindful of this and to acknowledge that also the regular cyclists need time to rest and longer to climb the hills. Thank you for your understanding.

Requirement to wear a helmet

Helmets are mandatory on our bike tours. It is advised to bring your own, well fitted, helmet with you as our rental helmet numbers are limited (reservation required).

There are, unfortunately, no rental helmets for children available.

Bringing children

The cruise offered here is an unforgettable experience especially for children. If you book a three-bed cabin, the third person in the cabin receives a 50 % discount on the basic tour price. Please note that our children’s bikes are only suitable for body sizes above 1.20 m/4 ft. For smaller children we offer trailer bikes or children’s seats on request (relevant hire charge applies). Please note that children under the age of 16 are obliged to wear a bike helmet.

Bringing private bikes & exclusion of private e-bikes

The tour which you have booked requires a bike with a fully functional set of gears. Islandhopping can offer you high quality, fully serviced rental bikes perfect for the terrain of this tour.

Should you however wish to bring your own hybrid bicycle with you, please make sure to check the condition of your breaks, gears, and tires and don’t forget to bring along a puncture repair kit and the essential spare parts for your bike (e.g. brake pads and spare tubes). Your bike should be in prefect mechanical working order.

We do not allow private e-bikes on board of our boats. This decision has been made due to health and safety regulations. If you wish to ride an e-bike for the duration of your tour, please get in touch with us about the rental options.

We do not recommend bringing along private road bikes, as the thin tires are not suitable for some of the road surfaces encountered on the tours.

Liability disclaimer: Radurlaub Zeitreisen GmbH. Will not be held liable for any damages caused to private bikes during loading, unloading or other logistical handling thereof.

Noise on board

Please do not forget that the ship is your hotel as well as a machine, which has to be maintained and operated – day and night. A certain level of noise is therefore inevitable.

Internet availability

The Panagiota does not offer a WiFi connection. If you need to connect to the internet during the tour, we recommend taking your portable electronic device to a cafe or bar somewhere in the harbour. Free WiFi is on offer almost everywhere. If you order something to eat or drink, then you are able to use the WiFi to your hearts content.
