The wooden motor yacht, Linda, was reconstructed in 2006 especially for Islandhopping and all of our know-how was invested in the project. Wooden clad cabins, of which three are below deck and eleven above deck, as well as a spacious and functional saloon with wooden tables and upholstered benches give the Linda a homely atmosphere.
The various decks provide a generous amount of space for the guests to relax on board. The sundeck is fitted with comfortable sunning mats so that the panoramic view from the top of the boat can be enjoyed to the fullest. Good weather offers the opportunity to set…
Our gravel and cyclocross bikes can be ridden over a variety of terrain. These bikes run perfectly on smooth asphalt surfaces as well as on gravel trails. The frames are extremely robust while still light. The relatively wide tires provide good traction when cycling on loose surfaces. Cyclocross bikes allow for adventurous rides without compromise.…
Our e-road bikes combine all the advantages of a cyclocross road bike with the advances in e-mobility, providing reliable and gentle motor support over all terrains. A sophisticated drivetrain provides the cyclist with enough assistance without dominating the biking experience. The integrated ‘Enough Power’ and ‘Enough Energy’ concept is responsible for the even distribution of support. As the motor is located in the rear wheel hub, a frictionless riding experience is possible even when cycling without the support of the motor.…

We are happy to organise a secure place to park for your vehicle on private property in Zadar. This must be reserved in advanced. Prices can be found under “additional bookable services”.

Would you like to spend a few days in the green, hilly landscape of northern Croatia before or after your Islandhopping tour? Are you looking for a program that offers you both organised activities as well as enough free time to explore the Croatian hinterland? Then we recommend our three-day extension program in Trakošćan and Varaždin which includes two nights’ accommodation with breakfast, a guided tour of Trakošćan Castle, a guided tour of the baroque town of Varaždin including an organ concert and transfers between your two hotels.
Are you intrigued to see more of Croatia? We recommend extending your stay with our 2-day extension program in the Croatian capital, Zagreb. The old town, built by the Imperial and Royal Monarchy, boasts many impressive buildings. The additional program includes transfers, hotel accommodation, a city tour and dinner in a typical konoba.
Due to our international audience all Islandhopping tours are conducted bilingually, in English and German.
We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, depending on wind and weather conditions or organizational requirements. Sometimes the tour will be conducted in reverse order. You will find further details in your booking information package.
Level 2 - 3
Moderate to demanding road bike tours suitable for islandhoppers with a high level of fitness and good riding technique. Tours lead through hilly to mountainous terrain with a number of steeper climbs (30-120km and 500-1,700 elevation meters per day).
On our regular cycling tours the riding pace is determined by the cyclists on regular road bikes. We ask guests who have reserved an e-road-bike to be mindful of this and to acknowledge that also the regular cyclists need longer to climb the hills. Thank you for your understanding.
Helmets are mandatory on our bike tours. It is advised to bring your own, well fitted, helmet with you as our rental helmet numbers are limited (reservation required).
The tour which you have booked requires a bike with a fully functional set of gears. Islandhopping can offer you high quality, fully serviced rental bikes perfect for the terrain of this tour.
Should you however wish to bring your own road bike with you, please make sure to check the condition of your breaks, gears, and tires and don’t forget to bring along a puncture repair kit and the essential spare parts for your bike (e.g. brake pads and tubes). Your bike should be in prefect mechanical working order.
We do not allow private e-bikes on board of our boats. This decision has been made due to health and safety regulations. It is also prohibited to take e-bike batteries with you on an airplane. If you wish to ride an e-bike for the duration of your tour, please get in touch with us about the rental options.
Liability disclaimer: Radurlaub Zeitreisen GmbH. Will not be held liable for any damages caused to private bikes during loading, unloading or other logistical handling thereof.
Please do not forget that the ship is your hotel as well as a machine, which has to be maintained and operated – day and night. A certain level of noise is therefore inevitable.
The on-board chef is a member of the crew and prepares the breakfast and the dinner. Catering starts with the dinner on the arrival day and ends with the breakfast on the departure day. One meal a day is taken ashore and is not included in the tour price.
