To avoid providing you with false or outdated information, we advise you to refer to the official websites of the individual destinations or the foreign office in your own country. Entry to Vietnam General entry requirements: Information from the UK Government Website or Information from the US Government Website There are currently no COVID-related entry restrictions for Vietnam. However, we ask you to please note the following: Those travelling to Vietnam with a transit flight should take note of the regulations for the transit country as these may differ from the regulations for your home country. Please be sure to inform yourself about this before your trip. All travellers must complete ten days of self-monitoring after entry to Vietnam. During this time, you are permitted to leave your accommodation. Should you develop COVID-19 symptoms during this time, you must take appropriate measures to protect against the spread of infection, and self-isolate. Travellers who contract COVID-19 during their stay in Vietnam must comply with the applicable infection protection regulations and remain in isolation until they test negative. In the case of severe illness, treatment will be provided in a hospital. Violation of the regulations is punishable by heavy fines. Although proof of vaccination or recovery is not currently explicitly required, it is advisable to carry such proof with you. Hygiene and Safety Guidelines for Islandhopping Tours Of course, we all wish that we could provide and enjoy our trips without any restrictions at all, however, the global management of the pandemic has changed all of our daily lives. During the 2023 season, Islandhopping will abide by the respective countries’ government-imposed health and safety measures, as far as they are ethically justifiable and technically feasible. At present, there are just few government restrictions in place regulating the operation of our Bike & Boat tours. However, the safety of our guests is our highest priority. Should we deem it necessary, we reserve the right to introduce and implement additional health and safety measures or social distancing rules during the season. Our experience over the past three years has shown us that, with the measures we have taken, journeys onboard our ships can be safely and successfully operated.
