Itinerary changes

This journey depends on wind and weather conditions, therefore the organizer reserves the right to make adjustments in the course of the tour. Also, ferry connections between the islands may vary.

MTB-Level: 2

From easy to manage to sporty day tours with hilly stages going from 20 to 40 km, with an average of 600 m of elevation and routes of the single trail scale up to S2., The trails are mostly easy with S1 level of difficulty. The mountain bike-terrain is as varied as the landscapes of the Aegean islands: the tours vary widely day-to-day and provide much diversity for the bikers. Wide forestry roads, small side roads, technical single trails, great flow trails and narrow forest trails lead you through the terrain. You pass very rarely through S2 or even S3 routes, which are mostly avoided. Furthermore, the guide has the opportunity to adapt the specific tours to the technical skills of the group.

Single trail classification

We have tried to make a classification of the single trails, so that you can be well-prepared before your bike journey starts and you can know in advance which technical level of difficulty to expect on the different stages of your routes. Regarding the classification of the level stages we geared ourselves towards the single trail scale distributed in German speaking countries (

Blue (easy, S0 – S1): small obstacles such as flat roots, small stones, occasionally odd gullies, erosion damages, gradient up to 40%, possible loose surfaces, narrow curves, but no hairpin turns demanding basic technical cycling skills, smooth braking, body displacement, cycling in a standing position, obstacles can be rolled over

Red (moderate, S2): frequently loose surface, larger stones and occasionally roots and steps, gradient up to 70%, light hairpin turns, readiness to brake, body displacement, ability to regulate the attack of braking and to shift the centre of gravity

Black (difficult, S3 – S5): blocked single trails, many larger rocks, boulders and occasionally root passages, slippery surface, loose scree, high steps, slopes steeper than 70%, narrow hairpin turns
Very good bike control

Requirement to wear a helmet

Helmet use is mandatory on all bike rides. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own well-fitted helmet. Rental helmets are available on board in limited number (reservation requested).

Time difference

Please note that Greece is on Eastern European (Summer) time, i.e. GM(S)T + 2 hours.
