Meander (Tall Ships)

The Meander was constructed in 1946 in Hamburg, Finkenwerder as a fishing vessel and operated as such until the 1990’s. In 1995 the ship was reconstructed as a passenger ship for the high seas. The Meander sailed throughout the world as a charter vessel until 2007, spending two years sailing in the Antarctic Circle.

The traditional rigging and the robust hull make this two-mast schooner incredibly seaworthy. The simple rigging and great sailing performance enables all guests on board, regardless of their previous sailing experience, to take part in the act of sailing.

Six comfortable cabins below deck provide space for up to 12 guests. The greatest area on board is the large lounge area on the aft deck of the Meander. The foredeck and middle deck also provide plenty of comfortable seating.
